The Cost

Of finally having a long talk on the phone with my sister.

Totally, totally worth it.

  2. Hah! I remember those days. Sonia used to get so pissed she would take a bag of crackers and make sure I was watching her as she dumped them over and then stomped on them and ground them into the carpet while I tried to talk on the phone. And she always made sure she was just out of my reach. Oooooo, she was a little devil. she also drew all over a wall hanging in her room with marker, and oh heavens, I could tell you stories about the things she did while I was on the phone for even ONE MINUTE. People complain to this day about how I disappeared for a couple of years from communicating because of the destruction that was Sonia.

    I feel your pain.

  7. I got all stressed because I wasn't sure if this was gonna be a long stressful post about the intricacies of adoption.

Then it wasn't, but I still got stressed because that looks my kitchen (except mine is way way worse.)

I am finding it's less and less worth it. Please God, let this phase be over soon.

  9. Looks worth it to me - unless that drink is caffeinated.

We have the same fuzzy bear slippers at our house, btw. I wish they came in bigger sizes because Z is just about to pop a big toe through the end of one.

  10. Now I thought that honey was olive oil. Which would be worse? Or better? Anyway, a very familiar scene!

  14. Hi Claudia~Oh, it's so good to know that I am not alone with my two two-year-olds. It would be interesting if we lived close enough to get together. :-)

I let my 2 stand on stools by the sink and play in water bubbles. Water everywhere but they have fun and I can talk!
