HOME!!!

We leafleted the neighbourhood, not really expecting anything. But in the middle of dinner we got a knock on the door and:

My boy is home!!! He's sleeping on my feet right now.  There may not be any fluffy bunnies around here, but I think I forgot that a fluffy kitten is even better.

Many, many hearts for all your sympathy earlier.

  3. Oh, I am really relieved to hear this! I know he is happy to be back home as well. There's not much sweeter than a cuddly kitty. Enjoy him!

  5. My theory: some creepy old cat hoarder tried to "collect" him by locking him in their home and he couldn't get out. But you can't keep a good thing down, and he knew that, and he escaped. If only he could tell his story.

  7. Oh such great news. Our baby cat went missing too a few years ago, the same day we saw a coyote on our back deck. Ted and I both cried buckets. He showed back up the next day. Then we cried more buckets.

  10. Oh, I'm so glad!! My heart just sank last night when I got your email (I get upset when another dog barks at Caila and so I can't even imagine what I'd be like - and what scenarios my overactive imagination would cook up - if she went missing) What a wonderful relief to read this post this morning,
*big hugs to you & M*

  11. I fretted all day long and kept asking Shine where he was. So relieved. Bet he never wanders again. If I were closer, I would make those neighbors cookies.

  12. Oh, this makes me so happy. I always see flyers like that around my neighborhood and wonder what happens in these cases (especially "lost parakeet"). This gives me a lot of hope for like everything today. Enjoy your fluffy friend :)

  13. Yay!!! He looks like a pretty awesome fluffy kitten. I'm so happy he's back in your arms. Or feet, rather. Having had cats before I know they hang out wherever they wish. :)

  14. Oh dear. I missed the other post, but I'm so happy he's home. Pets are so comforting sometimes. Probably the fact that they can't vocalize their temper tantrums if they have them.
